Privacy policy
Your data, briefly.
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
The short version: you don't need to give me anything to use this site. No account, no name, no email. I set no cookies of my own, but the hosting company sets three for its own performance monitoring (see Cookies). The chat does keep a log of questions and answers, so the answers can get better. Please don't share personal details or confidential company or client information in it.

What AI Isard is
AI Isard is an AI that answers from Isard Haasakker's published work: his white papers, his websites and the SAP SOAP books. It is not Isard in person. It can be wrong, and nothing it says is professional advice, an offer or a commitment by Isard or No Tie Generation Limited. For the real Isard, use LinkedIn.
What the chat logs
For each question:
- the date and time, and your local time zone as your browser reports it
- the country you're in, worked out from your IP address on this site's own server
- the page you asked on
- a random conversation reference, shown under the chat
- your question and AI Isard's answer
- technical details: which AI model answered, how long it took, and how much text was processed
Before anything is stored, email addresses, phone numbers and bank account numbers are replaced by placeholders. Names and company names can't be filtered reliably, so please leave them out. If AI Isard notices personal or confidential details, it says so in its answer and the exchange is marked for review and deletion.
The country lookup uses GeoLite Data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. It runs on this site's server, so your IP address is not sent to MaxMind.
What is never stored
- Your IP address, by the chat. It is used briefly to stop the chat being flooded with questions, and once to look up your country. For flooding, a scrambled version is kept for no more than a day, then deleted. The web host's own server logs are a separate matter: see Who else processes it.
- A visitor ID, by the chat. The chat uses no cookies and does not recognise you on your next visit. It only remembers the conversation while the page stays open.
- Analytics or advertising of my own. I use none. The hosting company's monitoring is a separate matter: see Cookies.
Why, and on what basis
To answer your question, and to see which answers fall short so they can be improved. The logs are read by Isard, and anonymised extracts may be analysed, including with AI tools. Anything that could identify someone is removed first. The logs are not used to train AI models.
The lawful basis is legitimate interest: running and improving a free question service. You can object at any time (see Your rights).
Who else processes it
- Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI model, receives your question and the conversation so far, in order to write the answer. Anthropic is based in the United States. Under its commercial terms it does not use this data to train its models, and it deletes it within 30 days, unless it is flagged under Anthropic's usage policy or must be kept by law.
- GoDaddy hosts this website and the chat logs on servers in Europe. It keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security, and adds its own monitoring script to every page, which shows it your IP address and browser on each visit. GoDaddy is a US company, so data can reach the United States. Its own privacy notice covers what it does with it.
Cookies
I set no cookies of my own and use no advertising cookies. GoDaddy’s monitoring script, described above, sets three cookies of its own when you visit: _tccl_visitor, _tccl_visit and _scc_session. They are for GoDaddy’s traffic monitoring, not for me. The site works the same if you block or delete them in your browser.
How long it is kept
Conversations are deleted automatically after 6 months. The scrambled IP addresses used against flooding are deleted after a day.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for a conversation to be deleted, or object to the logging. Email info@NoTieGeneration.com and, if you can, quote the conversation reference shown under the chat. That makes it easy to find. Without it, the date, the time and roughly what you asked will usually do.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the way the chat handles data changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
